Use of personal identifiable information

This app uses in-app billing services. The actual financial data is handled by in-app billing provider. Aerial TV does not store or transmit financial information. In order to install the app you have already agreed to your in-app provider privacy policy.

This app does not automatically collect or transmit any personable identifiable information. Aerial TV does not collect or transmit usage statistics or data apart from crash reports.

Collecting crash reports

When a crash report is generated, the following data may be sent securely back to Aerial TV servers:

• OS version, model, product string and manufacturer of the Android device currently being used.
• Error code and stack trace containing information about what part of the software was defective.
• Product id and vendor id of devices attached via USB.
• Aerial TV version code and version name.

The data payload does not contain personally identifiable information or cookies. There is no way to tie the report back to the originating user. The reports will be aggregated and the aggregate information will be used to:

• Identify any potential incompatibilities between particular Android devices and the software.
• Detect unsupported TV tuners in order to allow the developer to prioritize adding support for them.
• Identify bugs in code that happen with particular device.

This aggregate data will only be used by the developer and will not be published or shared to third parties.
